Intro to Production Pipeline cont.

So I was able to make some pretty sweet Musculature on the cuirass, and decided it was time to give it a shot at being exported back into the Maya mesh...

So then I tried bringing it back into Maya and putting it in a mia_material_x with a simple chrome preset... Here is what I got.



So for some reason, there seem to be some very sharp abnormalities in the topology of the normal map, which I was very surprised to find. So I just tried putting it on a simple lambert instead...


And for some reason I happened to get 8-bit shading on the side of it... Oh jeez...
